China 3 - 2 Denmark
China twice came back from behind in a thrilling game to go through to the final before an ecstatic home crowd. Kasper Nymann put the Danes ahead on an early break, and the veteran striker again gave them the lead shortly after half time. China weren't to be beaten though; Qi Zhi was on fine form in midfield and kept feeding the ball forwards as they sought to break through the Danish defence. With time running out, he made a brilliant run down the centre of the park and hammered the ball into the top left corner to steal the game. The stadium erupted, Denmark were beat and the hosts look forward to wowing their fans again in their first appearance in a World Cup Final.

Holland 3 - 0 Brazil
Holland strolled past a lacklustre Brazil, scoring all three goals in the 1st half and then holding onto their lead until the end. Frank de Jong was on brilliant form, and his two goals bookended another by Arje Lutjens. Brazil brought on two substitutes, and Wanderson Brasilia saw a terrific effort strike the woodwork in the 2nd half, while Tiago Cicero forced a save by Rob Van Del. Though they tried to get back into the game, their usual rhythym and composure wasn't in evidence whereas the Dutch looked hungry for goals and never let up their attacks. Holland have been favourites to win the competition, but face a difficult final against the hosts in front of a partisan crowd.
